Violet Scans takes copyright seriously. If you believe material on this site infringes rights you control, you can request a review using the process below.

Submitting a notice

Send a clear written notice to the email at the bottom of this page. Include everything in the checklist so we can evaluate your claim without unnecessary delay.

What to include

• Your name and a reliable way to reach you (email or postal address)
• Identification of the work you say has been infringed
• Identification of the material on our site, with enough detail (for example, URLs) that we can find it
• A statement that you believe the use is not authorized by the rights holder, their agent, or the law
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner of the right that is allegedly infringed
• Your physical or electronic signature

How we respond

We review complete, good-faith notices and may remove or restrict access to material when appropriate. Timing can vary depending on volume and complexity.

Counter-notices

If content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you may reply with the information applicable law requires for a counter-notification. We may restore material when a valid counter-notice is received and the process allows.
