Hachiban, a girl who lived a miserable life as a combat slave, is one day confronted by Celeste, a beautiful dragonkin who is dispatched as part of the security force to raid an arena. Upon seeing Hachiban fighting, Celeste realizes that she is the “mate” destined by God.
After being taken into custody, Hachiban is forced to choose whether to live with Celeste or not. While intensely yearning for her mate instinctively, Hachiban hesitates, wondering if it’s okay to simply rely on Celeste, who is more considerate of her feelings than anyone else.
