    Anyone believing the empress done nothing wrong and thinks the treatment is too cruel painfully lacks media literacy, she was a vile and greedy woman who meddled in the affairs of other noble families to either puppet them or completely erase them if she decides she has no use for them on the whim(the Brown noble family). Not to mention how she locked away Perez and his mother in a run down building and slowly poisoned them(which killed the mother), the emperor is a POS for cheating on her in the first place but let's not act like the empress is the major victim here. All of this is simply her karma.

    I always dislike when the main characters decide to be evil and everyone's supposed to cheer for them. It was just two groups vying for power in the kingdom. There's no need to be cruel

        She also killed all the other people who tried to help them. I think it was mainly maids and nannies. Plus, even if it wasn't entirely for revenge, she's really a horrible person who doesn't deserve a clean noble death. She's killed likely hundreds if not thousands, including the children (and probably mothers, I dont remember) of the emperor, just for her own benefit.
